These terms govern use of this website and the submission of contact or project inquiries through South Central Dev.
By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Website purpose
This website provides portfolio information, project examples, and details about services that may be offered for sale.
It also allows users to submit inquiries related to freelance work, development services, and collaboration opportunities.
No guarantee of service
Sending a message, booking request, or project inquiry through this site does not guarantee acceptance of a project,
delivery timeline, quoted rate, or ongoing availability. Services are offered at the sole discretion of Duck and may
require a separate written agreement before any work begins.
Estimates and proposals
Any pricing examples, estimates, package ranges, or promotional information shown on the site are informational only
unless confirmed in writing. Final scope, pricing, deadlines, revisions, and deliverables are determined through direct
agreement for each project.
User responsibilities
By using this site or submitting an inquiry, you agree not to:
- Provide false, misleading, or unlawful information
- Attempt to interfere with the site's operation or security
- Use the site for spam, harassment, or abusive conduct
- Copy or republish protected content without permission
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website design, written content, branding, and original portfolio materials on this site
are owned by Duck or used with permission. They may not be copied, reproduced, or commercially reused without prior consent.
Client work, ownership, and code rights
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, all source code, development systems, reusable components,
architecture, scripts, and technical implementation created by Duck remain the sole intellectual property of Duck.
Clients receive the agreed project deliverables and the right to use those deliverables for their business or project,
but ownership of the underlying code does not transfer automatically.
Content supplied by the client or created specifically for the client's brand or business, such as logos, copy, product
information, and approved project assets, remains the property of the client or its rightful owner. Any transfer of source-code
ownership, exclusive code rights, or full intellectual property assignment must be agreed to separately in writing and is subject
to an additional buyout or assignment fee.
As a general guideline, a full source-code ownership buyout is typically priced well above the base project fee because it includes
transfer of rights that would otherwise remain part of Duck's business assets and reusable development foundation.
In most cases, that fee would be separately quoted based on project scope, exclusivity, and long-term business value.
Third-party services and links
This site may reference or link to third-party platforms, tools, or websites. Those services are not controlled by Duck,
and their availability, content, and policies are outside the scope of these terms.
Disclaimer
The site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express
or implied. Reasonable efforts are made to keep content accurate and current, but no guarantee is made that all information
will always be complete, current, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Duck is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive
damages arising out of or related to your use of the site, your inability to use the site, or reliance on information presented here.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Updated terms become effective when posted to this page. Continued use of the site
after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
